Hi all,
Have been to have blood taken today so that my CA125 level can be checked for the first time since starting this round of chemo. Fingers crossed it will have gone down. I have a spectacular bruise where the woman in the clinic literally slapped my arm to get the veins up and then stuck the needle in as if she was training for a darts match ! I know my veins are quite well hidden but she didn't have to slap them into submission. I had to treat myself to a large cappucino and chocolate muffin, which, I must say, made me feel much better. Wil be seeing my consultant on Monday (17th) so will report back then.
Take care and feel well,
Love lizzie xx
