Been to see my consultant today and he said that after all the scans and furhter surgery that he has not found the Primary site and he believes he is 99% sure that he removed all the cancerous cells in the first operation and removal of the first lump.
I willbe having 6 weeks of radio therapy to be on the safe side but they see no reason that all this will be for is a precautionary measure, and will satrt the palnning after the new year around Jan 3rd.
I was so relieved that it was great news and that if all goes well ii should be given a clean bill of health around 12 weeks from today.
one thing i want to ask your advice on is they have offered me radio therapy and chemo therapy conbined but am not sure if the chemo would be beneficial they have told me to think about it ove the christmas period, i was wondering if any of you had any advice on this matter.
Hope all of you get the news that i got today and that you allhave as much a pain free christmas as i will now i will be able to eat my christmas dinner without it being liquidised.
please feel free to comment and have a good xmas
