Well despite me not wanting it to arrive it's here. I can't sleep again Bert has been asleep since we came back from Haematology at 5pm yesterday. Because we went to the Panto on Wednesday he was exhausted. he has woke up twice for a cup of tea and fallen asleep before I have finished making it.
They Consultant seems to think that he will need a transfusion so he will need to go in on Sunday if that is the case.
Confusion and agitation is still a problem, The confusion I think is made worse with his pain control. The agitation and panic attacks they are trying to control with new medication, which so far is not really making a difference so might need to get that changed next week.
OT finally arrived with an electronic bath chair, raised toilet seat and a mattress raiser which is like a vacuum cleaner it is so noisy. I don't know what the neighbours think we are up to in the middle of the night. ! OT will also put in a bannister when the joiners come back to work next week.
Other than all of that he is fine.
Love Teri
