Thoughts from the frontline - 32

And so it came to pass that the good Lady T agreed, after the bringing forward of the evening meal to do nothing about the castle. Lord A and Lady T had dined on the noblewoman Lady Linda McCartney most gracious food parcels of meatless meat in a pie and excluding all the four and twenty blackbirds. To this pie of magic the Lady T had added wedges of the new food called "potatoes" and beanus organicas from an item called a "tin". Oh the wonders of this modern land we live in. As the evening moved on Lord A and Lady T did snugglest down on their embroidered seat to take a view of the magic "TV" box that Merlin had provided with a discette provide by our friends in America recalling the events of a President in their "West Wing". Life was good for Lord A and Lady T but they were afeared of talking about the nextest day. The "Day of the Results". For it had come to pass that the great Lord A had been stricken with the devils cancer of the bladder which did make him very sickly to those who knew him. And the royal physicians knew of only one route to prolong the gentle Lord's life and that being the new art of surgery. For a man of his position Lord A was settled enough in society and location to be treated by the great Mr Halder of the shire of Wycombe. A man of good medical reputation and who had recently also treated Lord A's brother in law Peter of Aylesbury. The surgery to try and remove the devil's cancer by the removal of Lord A's bladder had been excised on the 13th day of August 2009 and this day, the 4th of September 2009 was when Lord A and Lady T would meet with the great Mr Halder and his court to hear the results from the medical summations. Lord A did not sleep that well on the night before and left his bed chamber during the hours of darkness to take another vial of medicine provided by the blender chemists at Bootshire to relieve the pain of the scars. Lady T thus slept most of the night on her own, a situation she did not want and that brought tears to her eyes. And so the morning had arrived and Lady T took herself off to her own court of design whilst Lord A prepared himself for his day. A day that would start with a stroll to his local physician for the letting of the bloods and the collection of the sample of the urine for Merlin's tests. Both the Lord and the Lady were nervous. The future of their court was at stake and they wanted to hear what the great Mr Halder had found during his work on the Lord's body. Would the news be good and that his reign would last another two score and ten years to reachest the year of century or would they predict a short and troubled time. The worry did bare hard on the Lord A and the Lady T on this Friday morning. But they were made happy but the support of the great kingdom of WhatNow that provided many their best friends and advisers during these troubled times. And so it was that Lord A and Lady T would go off into the town of the Stoke Mandeville with their troups fair square behind them. An army of the realm that they were most thankful. Lord A of Thanksagainfolks! A xxxxx
