Hi to all my friends sounds like a song that eh!. Well since i posted my last blog have had lots of advice from different sources.Have also been to docs for a letter from him to that b boss of mine , the doc says he would like it if due to my health if the boss would let me reduce my hrs. In the morning i will give the b aletter from me and the one from the doc this make the request official, as instructed to do by accass. iT also lets him know we who are living with cancer are classed as dissabled ,acass also said i should tell him this to. They also said if he does sack me he is diging a great big hole for him self. As for paying me only one weeks wage this is totaly illeagle he has to pay me 12 weeks wages . Well thats all for now will let you all know how things go shortly thanks for all the support you have given me on this matter Alan xx

Alan,

Have just gone back and read your previous blog -sorry I didn't see it before. Your employer has no right at all to treat you in this way and the advice you have been given by ACAS is correct! If he wants to terminate your employment on grounds of ill health - medical capability - there are routes and rules he has to follow.

Depends on how long you've been employed as to how much would need to be paid. H.R. is mainly what I do at work , so if I can be of any help to you, please feel free to ask and I'll do what I can.

Hi Ya Alan,

Thats what I like to see a man with Cahounas that will stand up for his rights, Not let crettins like his boss think they can do what they want with their employees lives,especially one thats suffering from Cancer. I just hope he tries to call your bluff, and the hole he will dig for himself will be that deep he will come out on Ramsey Street.So well done mate for standing up for your rights.

Alan - I am so proud of you! Please let us know what your Bully of a Boss says when you hand him the letters. You are very strong and we are all behind you in this. Thinking of you.
