TEN YEARS ON <it don't go away>

1 minute read time.

Some of you may have heard of me speak of my sister in law Edna . She was diagnosed with spinal cancer ten years ago . I have all ways held her up as one person whohad got the better of this monster, when talking to those on chat who are new and afriad of the future . She having been in remission for ten years.

Well as it says i title IT DON'T GO AWAY . Got home from work tonight and had a message on mobile <never take it with me > ha!. Well it was from Edna she had just got results from last blood tests and yes its started to come back the counts are high and getting higher . She said she knew there was some thing wrong when she had to see the head man . hE told her they were not going to do any thing at this stage unless she started getting ill again , they would wait till next bloods , six months from now . Seems to me that a long time in this game eh! folk's. She got the two standered messages don't worry ha1 think possitive ha!.

Over the last two years i have spent a lot off time on chat  and i hope i have been able to help a few of those i have spoke to like i was helped when i first came on . Edna has been there for me all the way through my illness but  when i spoke to her tonight i just cried , my worry is that i won't be able to help her and my brother when they need me most .In fact this has realy knocked me back i may need some more help my self in the near future .

    Hi Alan,

What a great woman your sister in law is, ten yrs in remission, and back it comes. If she approaches it the second time around, the way she did the first, she will get another 10 yrs remission.

You have got to look after yourself your needs are just as important if not more so. If it comes to it get together with your Brother and sister in law  and help and support eachother. All the Best.

Take care and be safe Sarsfield.

I am so sorry to hear about your sis-in law Alan. We are all here for you; just as you are always there for others.

Like the others have said, take care of yourself too; easier said than done sometimes I know.

    Hugs
