    Yesterday I ate cheese…blue cheese…a small piece and an oreo cookie.

    This proves my pain memory is less than a month long.

    I thought there was a small chance of it being okay – I used this argument to myself stood in front of the cheese section in the co-op. “

    I went for my ultrasound scan today…. nothing…nada….

    She had me lie on every side and the jelly was joy upon joy -warm (a technological advancement since I had pregnancy scans).

    But no stones…. not a one to be seen.

    Luckily I was booked to return to the health centre this afternoon to see my GP and get fresh stocks of the drugs doled out by Ipswich A&E…. my GP cast a…

    the weight is still dropping off me on my enforced low fat diet….

    I just spent a very happy half hour in the dressing room trying various things on that i’ve thrown to the back in disgust over the last year or so…. everything fits. In fact many things feel like someone elses clothes.

    Confidently I advanced to step two…. flicking through for all the things I bought because…

    When I visited my doctor and had gall stones originally diagnosed about a month ago she suggested I’d be wise to eat a low fat diet.

    So I did.

    Another flare up and the doctor in Ipswich A&E, whilst on holiday, tells me I need a zero fat diet…. at which point finding food becomes a nightmare… bread has fat in it…. brown rice for chrissake has fat in it, even baked potatoes which the doctor…

    A swift overnight with my bear on Friday night on the way to pick my mother up… sitting in the car for three hours played havoc with my gall bladder and associated (hopefully associated)! pain and so I had a night of gentle and solicitous bear and a good and fear free sleep being held…

    …and then the week begins… I have my elderly mother staying for a week. She comes over more…
