Less than one minute read time.

Hey I'm Anna and I write a online blog about having Cancer, I am 24 and have had a rare Sarcoma, Ewings Sarcoma since 2010 so around 6 years and ongoing. I am currently recovering from a major operation to remove half my pelvis and am trying to write about my experiences with Cancer.

I would love to help others through some of the tough life changing challenges that occur because of diagnosis. My blog is only my thoughts and not suppose to influence any decisions. It is a fairly new blog and I welcome any feed back, I have loads to give this community and am up for discussions and any advice I can gain from others. I am not sure how the future is going to pan out but my doctors are not optimistic however I refuse to believe nothing can be done.

I have done lots of research on personal health and Cancer that I would love to share. This is about my journey so pop over had take a look at the site, it would mean a lot, Thanks. Health and happiness, A xx

    Hi annie

i myself have been having difficulty with my hip and lower back. I had an MRI on my lower back which resulted in an emergency bone scan on Friday.

The scan started off fine and when it came to my spine and pelvis it became illuminous with what I know now to be cold spots. The rest of my bones were fine but my hips and three quarters of my spine were not. So I'm now waiting two weeks for a diagnosis.

My hip started too ache 6 months ago then a dull ache through my spine.

Im keen to learn about people's experience's so I know what to face in the near future

    thanks

    Hi Pete,

I know how difficult time between scans can be, time is not your friend, it goes so slowly! I have had a lot of experience with dealing with living scan to scan and it is hard not to think the worst but you have to try not to let fear take over as there is no sense in worrying until you know whats going on. I suggest if you don't already then maybe doing some meditation, just 5-10 mins each day can help with the anxieties your going through right now just to try and curve the overwhelm.

My Cancer actually started in the soft tissue and developed later in the bone. When it did start to develop in the bone I found it to be so achy and uncomfortable so I can imagine how your feeling. I guess you don't know the treatment yet? or even what the abnormalities are but to give you some comfort I thought life would be impossible after my operation but 5 months on and I am so happy with progress and amazed at how far I have come. They key is not to panic as you may rush into decisions, I guess you have to arm yourself against scary news but you also have to stay hopeful for the best!

Keep in touch, I wish I had sought more advice when I was first diagnosed, it can be tough on your own.

    A
