Lump in groin

Hi there. I haven't been on here for about two years. When I had lung cancer.. I am now worried as I have developed a new lump near and around my groin area. This seems to be spreading to top of thigh and has made one side if my genitals to swell up. This can be painful at times. It's quite bulbous. Waiting for an ultrasound . Anyone else had this. I'm really worried.

Hi , I’m sorry to hear about your new lump I hope you’ve either had your ultrasound or haven’t long to wait. I have metastatic melanoma, and have had a few lumps come up in my groin area and subside again in the time (2 weeks) that it took to arrange an ultra sound. I’ve also had scan results that showed a node sized 2cm when I could feel something much bigger that later subsided for me but I have been on treatment for some time but with a gap over the coved period. I noticed that you had written this in a blog, and I find that most forum members stick to the groups for talking to other members and use the blog for mostly recording their thoughts or their journey. I’ve put a link into the lung group in case that helps to connect you with more people who may have been in a similar circumstance.
