Tomorrow, Tuesday 23rd July, we’ll be hosting a live Q&A session with our nurses, Ellen and Kate. Tuesday's session will focus on supporting those newly diagnosed with cancer.

***GO TO THE LIVE Q&A***

Ellen joined Macmillan back in 2012 as a Cancer Information Nurse Specialist and became our Online Digital Nurse Specialist in September 2017 – affectionately termed our ‘Digi Nurse’. You’ll often see Ellen on the Community answering members’ questions in our Ask a Nurse session.

Kate is one of our Senior Cancer Information Nurses who joined Macmillan in 2009. Whilst Kate works primarily with the Support Line, you’ll also see her around the Community answering your questions alongside Ellen and our other Cancer Information Nurses.

Ellen and Kate are here from 9am to 1pm to answer any questions you might have about cancer.

To ask your questions, you’ll need to head over to our ‘Ask a Nurse’ session, where we’ll have a dedicated thread called ‘Ask a Nurse: Live Q&A’ where you can post your questions.

We kindly ask that if you’re wanting to ask Ellen and Kate a question, you do so by posting only in the dedicated thread called ‘Ask a Nurse: Live Q&A’, otherwise your question might get missed.

We’ll be finishing the session at 1pm when the thread will be ‘locked’ and if there’s any outstanding questions, Ellen and Kate will be sure to get around to answering them. The questions and answers will all be available to see in Ask a Nurse.

If you’ve any questions about ‘Ask a Nurse: Live Q&A’, then please do not hesitate to get in touch with the Community team at community@macmillan.org.uk.

If there are any specific topics you’d like covering in future sessions, please email your suggestions to the same address.
