A CT scan it is – booked in for next Thursday , followed by the Barts appt to discuss on the Friday. So our weekly countdown is underway. after another good nights sleep, Ray is brighter again today, although still has the stabbing pains along the diaphragm, they have been there a long time so you never know if its an old pain or merging seamlessly into a new one.
The sweats have abated over the last couple of nights, and he is a lot brighter in himself but of course he is worried by what is happening in his body. This disease constantly makes you doubt your own body and makes you wonder if it is working against you. When you are well you never even thinks about your body ,it just works.
So hopefully one weekend to have some fun if he is well enough, then four days to do our usual walk behind the tumbrills and deal with whatever the scan shows next week.
