October week holidays

1 minute read time.

Well,I'm so looking forward to having the kids off school for the week (and a day) am i weird or what,i love the not having to rush about in the mornings,i love not having to iron school uniform and i love not having to battle with Logan to do homework every night! Monday was a quiet day, made it round the park with the dogs and a trip to asda where i got two tops for a fiver each,i love a bargin! Got a phone call at night from my dad saying that he is going to his house in Lochgoilhead on Wed to do some work for the winter and did i want him to take Katie and Logan with him? Eh hell yes!! Logan was up for it,he loves fishing, cycling, walking with my dads dogs, swimming, eating ect ect but when i called katie to tell her she shouted at me down the phone then hung up,then came storming home saying she was refusing to go and that she would rather stay with her dad,ha bloody ha,she never stays over at her dads,so i called her bluff and phoned him telling him she wouldnt go and that i wanted a break and that he could have her from the Wed to Sun.....that went down well....NOT,he goes out most nights of the week after work and would have to give that up.I think going to her dads is a far worse option than Lochgoilhead,he has no internet,no dvd,and no dishwasher!!! Im going to make her go to one or the other though, not giving the chance of a break for a few days because of a spoilt 14 year old! Am i cruel??

My grandson (who lives with me) started school in september so I can't wait for his half term that starts 3-15pm tomorrow. I miss him when he's at school and on the days I'm not at work have been reduced to doing housework!!!!!!!!!!!!1
