Hi My name is Jan I am near 68 and have just been diagnosed with stage1b esophageal cancer.everyone keeps telling me how brave I am how amazing etc etc...but I am not.I know people are trying to say kind things but I wish they would understand I have no choice.It is modern technology and surgeons and drugs that keep us alive.I also have no desire to sit in a corner and cry.
