Glad you have been able to start a trial, I haven't any knowledge of this trial, but you never know, it may help you & it's worth a try, as I've said to you before, just take all that is offered to you, to make your life more comfortable, fuller, longer & happier.
I was wondering whether you would be able to ask at the hospital, where you are being treated, to be put in touch with anyone else who is receiving this trial too.
My thoughts are with you & I truly hope the trial goes well for you, There were no trials on offer when my brother had oesophageal cancer, but if there had been, my brother would have gone for it, You just have to go for it, to know that you have done everything you possibly can to beat this terrible cancer.
Where are you on the trial..my husband is terminal stage 4 and inoperable so I am researching the websites to get him on a trial. He hasn`t had a stent yet, he`s happy on semi solid food and soup.
Hope you are coping with your trials. You're so strong and I admire you for "going for it". If you don't know what's going on keep asking questions until you get an answer you understand. It's so easy to be blinded by science.
