Can I post a photo from my iPad or phone?

I initially didn’t think the word Upload underneath the File/URL box applied as I thought it was just for an online image. But then I clicked on it and found the Photo Library option. Exciting! But when I clicked on that and selected a photo from my Photo Library and tried to post it, I got this error message

Thank you so much for going to all that trouble! 

It looks like your iPad has the desktop version of the site, so you should be able to click where it says 'upload' just below the space to enter a file. When you click on 'upload' you should then be able to choose your image file from those saved on your device.

I do hope this helps, but we can investigate further if that's not working for you.

Unfortunately not - it puts it in the box but when when I try to post it I get the orange error message in the second screenshot I sent above (the one immediately above your reply)

Thank you and apologies, the site hadn't yet updated with your further response when I last wrote. 

Thank you for the screenshot, we can send that off to our tech team to take a look at - I haven't seen that error before!

It might be worth trying again with a different image, in case it was a one-off glitch. 

If you tap in a reply box when on your iPad, does it offer you the option to 'paste'? That might be easier than going through the whole image upload option.
