How do I start a discussion?

To start a discussion, you need to join a group. Once you're on a group page, you can click the ‘New discussion’ button to start a discussion (also know as 'thread' or 'conversation').

You will then be asked to add:

- A ‘subject’ – the title for your post

- The ‘description’ - the main part of the post. You can write as much as you like here.

- Any ‘tags’ – keywords to help other people search for your post.

- You will also be given the option to tick a box to receive emails whenever someone responds to your discussion.

You can type whatever's on your mind. Then just click 'Publish' and your post will appear in the forum for anyone to see and reply to.
