Hello Ladies,

I’ve not posted on here for a while but it sure feels good to be back. I have to admit the spur for this is my next check up tomorrow. It’s strange how these don’t seem to become any easier. If anything I find the prospect of 9.30 am at Guys more scary than I did. Maybe my memory is distorted. But I think part of the fear is due to thinking that as time passes it might be running out. I sort of think that I’ve been more than lucky to have this bit of extra life and that means it’s more likely to end soon. Anyway I will be thinking of us all and carry you wonderful people with me and hope.

I’ve also just realised that I don’t receive the daily updates from this group which is partly I’ve lost touch so will try to get back In the loop, it’s such a good thing to be part of.

Best wishes and love to all

Heya Flywing,

Good luck for tomorrow.

Unfortunately the daily roundup emails broke a while ago for some/most people. The option to receive all emails still works though if you were interested in that?

Thinking of you.

Hello ,

Great to hear from you. Sending you best wishes and good luck for tomorrow.

You probably seen the new bell icon by your PM button this is the new notifications icon, although you can op for e mails. The e mail system didn't work right.

Hi Nannasuki

Thank you. It did go okay so I can breathe again for six months! It doesn’t help seeing a different person every time I go.

My gratitude is great.

Hi Lass,

thank you for the good luck, it worked, all appears okay. I never say it IS just in case.

If I got your posts I guess I am receiving emails, though it’s a shame the daily round up is no more.

Is there something I need to do to receive ALL emails?

Best wishes

Flywing xx

Are you currently "send me every update from this group" in the e mail notifications box on the right side of the page. You can set it to give you every update, daily, weekly none.

Hi GBear,

How lovely to find you still on this forum and a champion.

Thank you for the good wishes, as you can see from my other replies it went okay. I had a blood test too and those results are also okay.

i love the ‘card’/image.

Now I have the Coronavirus to worry about, I’m not sure whether I’m more vulnerable having had cancer or not. A friend thinks my immune system might be compromised. I’m thinking I might call my CNS tomorrow.

All good wishes to you.

Thanks, I wasn’t, it was set on Daily so I’ve just changed it to ‘send every update’.

Thanks bunches

I think most of us will have to self isolate ( an unfortunate term but sadly its happens) I have been making cards today as a bit of distraction as my support groups are all cancelled until further notice as we are all at risk so better for us to stay home, I will miss my art class friends and my support groups some I am in contact with so it helps.

Always best to ask your medical team advice , at the moment things are moving very fast and a lot of uncertainty. The good thing is the Community here, as it happens it will be a source of support greater then ever and so important. So good your blood tests went OK. Keep safe

Yippee - it worked, I’m getting updates, so excited!

And thanks for advice, I will contact the CNS team.

I’ve been looking for images to make into a linocut today which was fun. Just unfortunate I have to return to work next week.

Hello everyone- it's a long time since I have posted. Life has been so busy and i have been working a lot. Now Corona has put paid to that and I'm catching up.with old friends. I remember Flywing, Fairycake and Gbear from long ago. I've been isolating for nearly two weeks because of asthma and other things but generally I'm fit and healthy. Keep safe ladies.
