We understand that people with cancer are worried about coronavirus.
Here is the
We will update it regularly.
I know, just seems to go on forever....I bet an appointment comes through for when we are away...
I emailed the hospital today as wanted to know if my results were back, they are...and everything sent for biopsy was benign and I have been discharged. So relieved.
Army I hope you have received your letter with the date for your hysteroscopy and I’m keeping everything crossed that you get a similar result x
That's fabulous news. So relieved for you .
Believe it or not I've still not received my letter I'm putting CA complaint letter into PALS today I'm just exhausted with it all. I've not got a date or anything as yet x
Must admit I cried...when she emailed me back and said I’ve attached the letter I had an inkling all might be ok as bad results tend to be given face to face but it was so good to see it in writing..
Im glad you are putting a complaint in, you have had appalling service..I do wonder if your age is against you as you aren’t post menopausal.
My letter was dated last Friday so 2 weeks after the Hysteroscopy but I’m presuming the results were back sooner than that. Just glad I emailed now.
Hoping you don’t have to wait much longer and that your results some through quicker than last time. I suspect if you are putting a complaint in it will ensure you get quicker responses this time round. Please let me know how you get on x
I am so so happy for you.
I've just received a call from PALS my letter has not still been signed off and no appointment had been made for hysteroscopy. They are investigating it now .
I'm beyond heartbroken
It doesn’t exactly fill you with confidence does it? If something was wrong (which hopefully it won’t be) and they’ve wasted all this time. Hopefully now PALS are on the case things will move much quicker for you and you will get your letter and your appointment through pronto.
Omg gets better had Dr on phone they've received a letter to say my findiings are inclusive and I need a D and c and hysteroscopy done. So I'm back to square one Feb waiting for an appointment to see what up. One says one thing then someone is saying something else. I've now got t wait for all. All I'm hoping now is PALS put this through fast track.
Gutted beyond belief
Oh no, what a nightmare..in consolation, my scans never picked up my polyps, it was only by chance that they found one during my first biopsy. The Hysteroscopy then found another 3. I think you originally said they thought you had a polyp. If you are having a D&C and hysteroscopy I presume that will be as a day patient having a general and that will allow them to have a good look round and remove any polyps if they find any. I was unsure about having a general as had problems in the past but it was no problem at all and I’m actually glad now that I had my hysteroscopy and polypectomy done that way.
Hopefully PALS will get things moving for you and you won’t have to wait much longer but I do think your disadvantage is your age unfortunately. They seem to give priority to post menopausal bleeding and once I actually got into the 2 week fast track system things moved quite quickly, although it didn’t seem like it at the time..just keep pushing, ask to go on cancellation list etc x
I've been told different things from hospital to Dr I'm not sure what there doing. Last week the Dr said there was a polyp found today the Dr didn't mention a polyp just my biopsy was inconclusive and had to be done again under general where they would also do a D and c and biopsy. But still no date for that hysteroscopy app. I'm tearing my hair out and crying my eyes out. I'm back to the start of not knowing what I'm dealing with and no dates as yet to find out.
When my first biopsy was taken the consultant said to me if it's inconclusive we will get you straight back in for another biopsy that was 10 werks ago she said that and now I'm waiting for a new date to see someone
Do you have her name? Might be worth trying to contact her directly via her secretary?
Please don’t stress too much, too much stress isn’t good for you, it will be sorted and I’m sure all will be fine. You will need a pre op assessment but I had my pre op on the Monday and my hysteroscopy on the Friday so it wasn’t long to wait in between. I originally went to GP in January and was fobbed off, happened again in March so I went back and even then despite my age my GP didn’t refer me under the 2 week fast track which she should have, I had to complain to the surgery and remind them of the NICE guidelines and it’s only today, 5 months later than I got final results and all was ok, I think your results will be ok too x I’m wondering if inconclusive means they aren’t sure if there is a polyp and so they want to have a good look to see if there are any there which need removing.
Hello Army What a frustrating result after such a long wait I hope he new appointment comes through quickly and that you get some answers soon. Gentle hugs x
I'm just so drained and very low at the minute
Oh bless you army, this is similar to me, I waited 7 weeks just to get an inconclusive result, I had just assumed all was ok then they told me I had to have a d and c, I was gutted and in s total state, but you end up getting through it Hun, I think we end up on auto pilot but we do cope, you will cope, it’s very frustrating for you I know it is, big hugs to you one day this crap will all be behind you ,even though it dosnt feel I like it right now xxx
