I can stay that it’s incredibly unusual to have swelling in both legs due to DVT. It’s almost always due to something else. I know you are worried but that’s my experience, for what it’s worth, and I do DVT scans! However, you were absolutely right to ask your doctor as you were worried and there’s no fault in that.
There are so many causes for leg swelling. Although it’s a b nuisance, most of them aren’t serious. Even so, don’t be afraid to ask your doctor for advice and reassurance - that’s never wrong.
