hi all,

im on day 15 of a 25 day radiation plan, then a few weeks to recover and then I will have surgery.

Has anyone had this surgery before? I appreciate everyone is different but I’m trying to learn more about what to expect from someone who’s actually had it?

Many thanks

Hi  and a very warm welcome to the online community

I'm sorry to see that your post hasn't had any replies yet and, although I don't have the experience you need, I thought I'd see if I could help.

You may already have found this information yourself but this is a link to surgery for soft tissue sarcomas that Macmillan have produced.

I typed "synovial sarcoma" into the search facility in this group and did spot a couple of posts that talk about this type of sarcoma. If you do the same you could reply to the more recent posts to ask about what to expect from the surgery.

My last suggestion is that you post your question in ask a nurse and one of the specialist cancer nurses will try to respond within 2 working days.

I'm also tagging my fellow Community Champion  into my reply as he looks after this group and can probably provide more help to you than I can.

Wishing you all the best with your upcoming surgery.

x
