Hi Heva2015, welcome to the community. Sorry to hear about what you have been going through, cannot say it matches my wife experiences at all so if would be quite difficult for me to say.
I do see there are some links but it would be hard for me to guess, perhaps it might be helpful to talk to sarcoma uk where they have a bit more specialist knowledge in what is quite a rate from of cancer.
Hi thank you - I know this has been a while but wanted to give a quick update.
My oncologist has confirmed that my GIST was most likely caused by my radiotherapy and it is extremely common to see these 20 years post treatment. He believes I am low risk for any further instances but I obviously need to be vigilant.
