Hi, Thank you for letting me join! I had Mohs surgery 9 days ago on my nose from the top of eyebrow under my eye down my nose. They put a skin graft on it. Went to the surgeon on Monday and the surgeon said it looked good. My concern is that it is still blue at the top of the skin graft. The bottom was blue too, but has started to turn pink. Has anyone had a skin graft that had blue color on it? TIA
Hi and a very warm welcome to the online community
That's great that your surgeon is happy with the way that your skin graft is healing. I haven't had this myself so don't know whether the fact that the top of your skin graft is still blue in colour is anything to be worried about or not.
There are lots of people in this group who have had skin grafts and hopefully one of them will be along soon to tell you about their experiences. While you're waiting if you type 'graft' into the search bar in this group you could have a read through previous posts on this topic.
If you don't get any replies, or can't find anything about a blue colour in the older posts, you could post your question in ask a nurse and one of the specialist cancer nurses will reply within 2 working days.
When you have a minute it would be really useful if could pop something about your journey so far into your profile as it helps others when answering or looking for someone with a similar diagnosis. It also means that you don't have to keep repeating yourself. To do this click on your username and then select 'Edit Profile'. You can amend it at any time and if you're not sure what to write you can take a look at mine by clicking on my username.

I hope your graft has settled down now. My surgery was a month ago & the graft had areas of blue that have now settled to a lighter flesh colour. The part near my eye is still tender & the bottom section on my cheek is very thick and stands higher than the surrounding skin. I hope it settles down. At the moment it looks like a piece of chewing gum had been stuck there!
If you are able I'd love to hear how yours progressed & I really hope you are doing well now.
Cheers,
Emily
