I found myself in lot of bone pain even though I’ve stopped treatment my back hips shoulder legs and ankles all hurt either constantly or movements I over did it yesterday and barely moved today I thaought once levels had come down they said the pain should go but I feel worst than ever if I try and pick something up and lift my arm up I can do it very far as I get bad bone pain from my shoulder to my elbow and then the more I do the more burning in legs I get have told doctor but just said it’s side affect and will go soon also suffer from weak muscles and found myself pulling my ribs nearly by sneezing or laying wrong feels like I’m going mad hard to get comfortable not sure if anyone else has had anything similar
DearSkippy01, some of what you describe sounds like peripheral neuropathy which I experienced when on velcade but cleared up at the end of my induction therapy. For some people it can be quite debilitating and it’s not a pleasant experience. If you are concerned about any bone pain however I would speak to your consultant again and try to get some more assurance that there is nothing to be concerned about. It’s important to speak up when you aren’t feeling well as all myeloma patients symptoms seem to be unique to the individual.
