Scan results

Hi Peggy,

Good to see you, think we’re all in the same boat, we’re all having problems and it’s taking a while to get everyone back.

Good luck for your results today, I get mine tomorrow.  Hope you get them early on in the day and you don’t have to sweat it out for too long. Hopefully your treatment plan will be kinder to you.

Get my scan results on Wednesday.... terrified

Peggy I hope the news was good today. Good luck for tomorrow Julie, and Debs for Wednesday. Such a nerve wracking time getting scan results. No matter how many times we have to do it, it never gets any easier. 

Scan results resoanbly positive, some mention ( which I didnt really understand ) about white cells infiltrating the ?lung/tumour casuing inflammation, and some growth in the lymph node on the other lung, but happy for me to keep on the immunotherapy and scan at end of September.

Glad you had positive news from your scan and your treatment can go on.

I spoke to the oncologist and she said we can tell more on the next scan in three months.Its my first scan on this chemotherapy so fingers crossed.I had my treatment delayed a week and have my next one on Wednesday.I needed another week and feel a lot better.I am going to have a week of injections with the chemo to  help my blood cells hopefully stay out of hospital.Still least I have a treatment.

Hi Peggy, how were the results of your scan? I hope they are positive. I'm on here to find some support for my mum, she is getting a call on Thursday afternoon from cancer specialist, we are not looking forward to it, my name is Sue, my mum is Margaret xxx
