It is my partner who is suffering. He has stage 4 nsclc. What can I do? His pain is constant and becoming intolerable. It hurts so much to see him suffer
Hi Rachel
So sorry that your partner is suffering in this way. In this day and age there is no reason why he should be in so much pain.
Does the hospital have a Palliative Care team who will be able to help with pain relief (palliative care is not just about end of life care but also general pain management)?
Do you have a local hospice where he could go for a few days to get his pain management sorted?
Please contact his cancer team or his GP asap to get this sorted.
