Lung cancer cough

Without knowing what is causing the cough it's difficult to suggest anything so would suggest following oncologists advice to take paracetamol. 

Re first biopsy, I'm guessing they were unable to source any/sufficient material to do a biopsy, hence the second attempt was scheduled.

One thing I would (in fact always do) suggest is you don't google the problem. The information generally available on the web is at least 2 years out of date.

You will find lots of helpful people on this site (as opposed to me) and once you have a diagnosis the suggestions will come thick and fast.

It's always a long wait but there are so many brilliant drugs about that whatever the diagnosis there will be something.

My husband (74) finds broncho stop pastilles help him (also available in liquid)  and even good old (original) fisherman’s friends.  All the best.

I was prescribed codeine linctus when I had a bad cough during the early stages of tests and it worked very well. Your consultant or GP might be able to prescribe this for you.

Vaping? Yes it will be making you cough worse. Please stop inhaling any substance into your lungs that isn't prescribed by your consultant.

i did think that vaping would agrovate it .

my cough was so bad. would not go away. prescribe 3 different anti biotics that did not stop it. was that prescribed  Oramorpth.they explained that it tricks the brain regards your cough.  worked brill for me came off it after  treatment kicked in.
