Sorry it wasn't better news from the oncologist but the treatment can take time to work ( see reply to my question on the ask an expert thread ).
Glad they are trying radiotherapy on the sternum to try to relieve the pain and are treating the pain.
Morphine and tiredness will effect your hubbys thinking and memory and is very common . I suggest you express your concerns to the oncologist or the Macmillan nurse and they can arrange further tests if necessary.
It is very difficult not to worry over every ache, pain and change but do remember he is full of drugs and stressed out himself.
