Kidney removed yesterday

How are you doing?

Not too bad. Slowly getting my head round it all. Seeing the surgeon next Friday. 
How about you? 

I'm still struggling anxiety wise. So scared of the op and what's to possibly come after. I have my chest scan tomorrow then pre op tests next friday but I haven't spoken to anyone since my original diagnosis after the abdominal scan.

Have you got friends and family supporting you? I’ve told absolutely everyone I know now and it’s been really helpful, people have been so supportive. 

Sorry I should have clarified that. I haven't seen any medical people since the diagnosis. Yes I have a husband and 2 grown up kids. My daughter has been home last weekend, which was lovely. And my best friend is now going through it all too. She is 2 weeks behind me on appointments and will be facing surgery and loads of unknowns too. Its been a great help having someone to go through it with and yes like you I tell everyone!! They all know how much I panic!!!!
