they did, I think.

My Dr is sending me to a specialist in Oxford because we dont have the tech in Telford/Shrewsbury to do the required surgery. I had my pet results today. they showed nothing.

Where are you going, the Churchill or JR? you will need to allow plenty of time for parking, at least 1/2 an hour (the Churchill is better than the JR, just) even by public transport as the JR can back up for miles so the buses can't get there, I haven't had/seen long ques to get to the Churchill just waiting to park. It will probably be a Tuesday and they are the worst. Good luck.

No idea which one yet. Thanks for the tip on parking.

It's just a case of waiting now.

Having, what's left of, my tonsils removed on Wednesday. Then they will be tested.

But I've been thinking... I don't think I'm going to have radiotherapy. I wont be able to cope with that and look after my kids doing school runs and lunches, cooking, plus working myself.

fingers crossed they come back clear.

Hi just echoing what others have said please don’t refuse treatment if you need ut. if it is cancer unfortunately it will nit go away on its own Ok treatment is hard but doable it’s far preferable  to the other option ! Head and neck cancer treatment has come leaps and bounds in recent years .

good luck for Wednesday please come back with results

the forums are here to help you as many of us have been there and done it as the saying goes .

Do I cancel?

Phone your nurse and ask her, she will/should put you in touch with your consultant if needed, the other thing is that the waiting is the worst thing so if possible get it over with as you have your help set as well, mine was postponed for a week and it was the hardest week to cope with.

Agree with Ron. Give them a ring. If you are brewing a cold they will postpone.

Hi Pixie,i agree with the rest of the guys because if you turn up they will most probably send you back home, it could be a bit of nerves/anxiety that might have had some input into the cold sore etc. So give them a ring. All the best .
