Morning,
I had my MRI on Friday & have been asked to go back to ENT this friday to discuss results etc, not sure if being called in quickly is a good thig or not but definitely better than waiting a long time in suspense.
When i go is there any advise for questions i should ask, if it's clear on MRI should i ask for a biopsy or further scans, would they even consider it if i did ask. Last time at the appointment i forgot so much even couging up blood which was quite a thing to forget, had to email them the day after.. So i'll take my partner & some notes, just looking for anything i should push on either way, positive or negative..
Thanks again
Me
Hi Me
Make a list to take in. Start now and jot down things as they come to you. Your suggestion to take somebody in with you to be an extra pair of ears is sound. Take notes and don’t leave till you understand everything.
If your MRI is clear there won’t be anything to biopsy. Where do they look? If it isn’t a biopsy and a chest CT will be the next options anyway.
If mire tests are needed ask them straight out if they suspect cancer. At least that will be one thing out of the way.
Good luck

Hola, the biopsy would be on my tonsil which I wish I could share a pic of but it’s more like a slug with white bits & the surrounding area looks grim, wasn’t there a month ago… if nothing shows on the mri I guess it would be a cyst or something but I’ve no idea, I’ll start jotting down things as you suggest, thank you for the reply

don’t leave until you’re happy with replied.

Yes for a couple of weeks people say so make sure you have plenty of industrial strength analgesia to take home.
Good news re the scans.
