Can i ask if you talked to anyone about how youv'e been coping,i am struggling,scared i suppose.It was suggested to Hubby to get a mouthwash that doesn't contain alcohol ,might help.
7th cycle done. 2nd CT scan results on Monday. Side effects from chemo are really getting Rod down now. It's this stopping him from eating now rather than the OC and he's dropping weight again.
Rod is using Biotene and Difflam. He was given some sachets of stuff that turns into gel when mixed with water. The paracetamol haven't been much help over the last couple of days.
I didn't talk to anyone other than family, friends and colleagues. As well as the lovely people on here.
I like to have a bit of quiet away from everyone too so escape for a walk with the dog first thing when it's just starting to get light. It's when I'm most relaxed and can think things through. Have the odd cry if I let my thoughts run away too.
We've got lots of things booked for the coming year to give us things to look forward to but are realistic too so redid our will and just need to get our signatures witnessed.
If you don't feel able to talk to someone you know, people on here recommended Macmillan.
Sorry to hear Rods not doing too well ! We lost our dog a couple of years ago and really miss that getting out early and clearing your head ! im doing ok second round of chemo done few side effects at the moment lost my hair was ok about it until my husband made a joke about it !!!
Starting to eat some normal food taste is odd at the moment not sure if it’s the chemo or because I havent eaten for so long !
