Hi all
some very positive stories on here and very helpful! I am 51 and really anxious about my results. I thought getting a cancer result would mean the end! That’s what really scares me. I will get my results in a weeks time.
I have always suffered from acid reflux and have just recently in the last 3/4 months had difficulty swallowing certain foods.
Whilst i await my results I am going on holiday to Turkey!
Has anybody got any anxiety tips or how to remain positive!
many thanks in advance
Hi Sparky. First of all let me wish you good luck as you go through your programme. One of the things you learn on this forum is that everybodys journey is different but positivity is the thing that carries you through. A year post op. I reflect on all the teams that put the effort in to save my life. That makes it a fairly humbling experience. No one wants this illness but you learn a lot about the skills and compassion of the medics who treat and support you. Hope all goes well for you
