Hello
I wanted to get some advice, my friend aged 68 was diagnosed OC in May 2024 T3N0M0
Had flot and then the surgery, 2 LN infected out of 37 so was T3N1MO
Had more flot
Clear margins from the surgery. He has had two three monthly scans post treatment and these have been clear so is doing very well
But has anyone noticed long term personality changes post surgery/chemo/cancer?
Detached/ dis interested, very tired, snappy, sometimes a bit angry - when before was the most calm level person.
I would be interested to know if any one has
thank you all
Hi sunflower98 welcome to the forum and I.am sorry to hear how things are for your friend. Being diagnosed with Cancer changes us all in different ways and it sounds like your friend has been on a constant journey since first being diagnosed. Imagine a train journey where you want to get off but the train keeps going! That's how it feels so it does change personalities and little things seem to insignificant now than they were before..I can imagine that they will be a bit shocked, a bit angry at what has happened and not really feeling themselves with fatigue. None of it's easy but don't give up they need people who care to just simply be there. Gail x
