Stephen had stent fitted Tuesday. He is disappointed as no real improvement with eating. Still only eating small amounts of clear soup and ice cream anything else is difficult to get down. I keep saying give it time as this is what they said at hospital. Can anyone tell.me if it does get easier once it has had time to settle. He is now only 9 stone originally 14 stone and is very weak. This is really our last hope as we have no other options. Very distressing watching him fading away and not being able to do anything.
Am really having a down week. Husbands 2nd stent may have migrated yet again (2 in 4 months) he’s starting to get food stuck and is too frightened to eat. He’s hungry but doesn’t feel hungry. The previous chemo hasn’t worked. Starts a new one next week. Am totally heartbroken but trying to stay strong. He has lost 3.5 stone in past few months.
Thank you lovely. We seem to be experiencing the same. My spirits have lifted reading everyone’s posts. Will look for the story now. Thank you for replying. Xx

Sending a massive hug. I unfortunately have experienced this too and I know how hurtful it is (mine has been when I kept on about not trying to eat) It is out of frustration and next Tuesday will be on his mind . Explain to him if you can you are trying your best and that he upset you. Hubby started his new treatment this week. Never keep it in please message at anytime as I am positive we all go through the same xxxx

Good luck today, thinking of you both. It’s very hard and emotional on us all. We have blood tests always 2 days before. Same as you we both got upset as it was out of character. Just to give you a bit of a chuckle, a side effect of this one is hair loss, however he’s more concerned about the 15 strands of chest hair he’s grown for last 17 years since he was 40! Xx
Lol xx long time since I chuckled x mine dosent have much hair anyway , xx
He said.. ‘I know I will cellotape them down… my reply so what when u need to change the cellotape? Obvs you’ve never been waxed! Lol x
