Hi all I’m home after my surgery last Monday, feeling well still on pain killers but just want to reassure any body facing surgery soon that it’s not quite as bad as you might think ! Eating a sloppy diet on day 4 all good at the moment let’s hope it stays that way
Very good news Tricia …. recovery is always better at home. Keep in touch on progress
we had a call from BRI yesterday and surgery on 9th is cancelled and now provisionally on 16th. To say we are devastated is an understatement ….. Chris is panicking too as he’s having more difficulty swallowing and pain in his chest again. xx
Oh dear that’s disappointing these delays are frustrating when you get your self all geared up for a certain date, did they give a reason ? Was it to do with his last chemo or availability?
PS thank you for the candle xx
It was Carly who rang after I had left a message as we had heard nothing. She didn’t give a reason just said dates were always provisional so now we are worried it won’t happen on 16th either. I think it’s simply a waiting list …. she did say no one was jumping the queue .
Really pleased all is going well for you. Xx
No I’m taking it very steady! Can’t remember the last time I went to bed in the afternoon!!
That’s great news. Hope you can enjoy a few siestas in the beautiful sunshine. Enjoy the slop. Best wishes, Julie
