Is it common amongst us to actually PAY out of your own money to have a private Endoscopy to hurry things along & to alleviate worry.
Surely this is very wrong when we have a fast-track system in the NHS just for this?
Maybe it's a regional difference in referral time but I'm sure there are no GPs in the UK who would want to delay a potential cancer prospect from having it correctly diagnosed.
They have a maximum of two weeks from the referral to giving you the endoscopy. Mine was only four daysm
