My mom is diagnosed with stage 4 follicular lymphoma last Friday and starting R-CHOP chemo on Monday.
There are nodules everwhere including spleen, left kidney, neck, abdomen, pituitary etc.
(She is a long time rhematoid arthiritis sufferer and have been using immuno supressants for 25 years. Doctor says this is one reason it spread so fast.)
While doing my own research I came across Bendamustine which it seems is more effective than R-CHOP.
I am planning to discuss this with our doctor.
In the mean time, was wondering if there any experiences and feedback regarding the effectiveness of each or both. Any information will be useful.
