I like Henry. That's lovely.

6am is ok. I used to up at 4.30am to care for my sister before work. You get used to it - eventually !!!

He does look a sweetie. But then I'm a sucker for dogs.

Hahaha, my skin won’t miss Henry! I bruise and bleed easily, and have several plasters already. He greeted me like a long lost friend this morning when daughter brought him in! Puppy teeth are so sharp.

Daughter hasn’t got to go today for immunoglobulin as she’s still got her cough and cold, so is just having an extra sleep and then will take him home.

Hes a miniature Schnauzer, Seaspirit.

Scratches or not, he's gorgeous.

I'm off for an mri, weirdly really nervous about this.

I hope you have a lovely day. Enjoy Henry.

And wee Henry is home! Phew! Such a responsibility looking after someone else’s dog and helping toilet train it too!

And I slept so well as a result! Haha!

hugs and Happy Easter to all xxx

And it’s far too nice out to be in, peas planted, Poles in for runner beans.....I actually sat outside to eat breakfast!

Quite thankful, though, to have an old wooden bench in a really shady spot against the tall fence, it makes a wonderful spot to sit and look across the garden and feel comfy in the occasional hot flush!

I usually worry a bit about the bees this time of year, but we’ve seen a lot, on broad beans (which really are in full flower) and also the blueberry bushes which have flowers coming out. Lovely to see!

Hugs and Happy Easter to all you lovely ladies! xxx

Your garden sounds idyllic, I'm afraid mine won't  e much  this year. No pots to plant up. No fruits apart from peach and Apple trees. The pond is green, as they ad used I didn't empty it  and clean it out. Too many bacteria. And I havent dead headed the daffs yet. All looks like hard work !!

I need to get a grip.

I thought sun and chemo were a no no?

I think you’re right about sun and chemo, Lesley, but you can maybe wear sun hats and sunscreen?

We do love our garden, it’s not huge but we enjoy having a few veggies fresh and young, and grow blackberries and loganberries over trellises.
