I had a masectomy at the end 2023, I am on zoladex and letrozole. In the last few weeks that I have severe pains in my leg it is affecting my mobility. I have been taking the medication for a year has anyone any had a similar experience.
Hi Bobble I was on zoledex with anastrozole, for 10 years, recently stopped zoledex but still on anastrozole. I get terrible joint pain, mainly hips and back. Is this just one leg? Part of the Leg? Is there any swelling? If it is hot or tender then will be worth getting it checked out in case there is a blood cot.
As the estrogen is decreased by the zoledex and letrozole, then it is usual to get some aches and pains, but anything new is worth discussing with your medical team.
Hi there, I've been on letrozole for more than 3 years. I get some pains in my thigh, but I've worked out it's usually linked to activity, so if I have been standing for longer than usual or walked more. Have you changed your routine? Or chsnged the brand of meds as some people report this can make a difference. As with everything, if you’re concerned, talk to your GP or your cancer specialist team. Best wishes
