A bit shell shocked as my best friend has just been told she has lobular cancer with 20mm lymph node biopsied positive. Her next appointment is a week away, no MRI yet and I want to be in the best position to support her and her adult daughter. Any advice on this particular cancer and the best sources of good information would be much appreciated? Warm regards L
Hi Luna8
Welcome to the forum and sorry to hear that your best friend has breast cancer. On the website there's an article on Supporting my friend with cancer in the Cancer information and support section of this website. The following is the link: https://www.macmillan.org.uk/cancer-information-and-support/supporting-someone/emotional-support-for-family-and-friends. Also there's a family and friends forum which you can join to get help and support while supporting your friend. This is the link: Family and friends - Discussion Forum
Wishing your friend the best of luck with her treatment and you the best of luck with supporting her.
Best wishes
