Onwards and flatwards (don't do hills) and keep walking if you can!
seaspirit44 I am really sorry to hear about the loss of your singing friend. It is truly shocking to hear of someone dying so young. I had sepsis twice and know how lucky I was to get through it. I don't think it's selfish at all, I think cancer or not funerals always make us think of our mortality.
I hope she's still singing wherever she is .. all my love to you and give hubby a big hug when he gets home.
xx
seaspirit44 - sorry to hear of your difficult day today - hugs to you and your family.
Has anyone lost a baby elephant?
Only I seem to have one sitting on my chest today!
Me taking my huge antibiotic tablets:
In other news - I applied for a blue badge a few weeks ago - now have to go for a medical assessment to see how my condition affects my walking! Hopefully, I'll have some extra information from the chest team by the date of the assessment. What a palaver for something relatively simple. Definitely makes me reluctant to apply for PIP - all 40 odd pages of the form!
And me , although I've had the stress of trying to prevent a possible fraud on my Mum's bank account - trying to contact the bank when you have about 4 million numbers for cards and authentification etc is a pain - I have control over my Mum's account and 2 of my sister's as she is not in the country. I can't remember which numbers are for what...
Now trying to find someone who can give me my Mum's debit card number so I can cancel it. It's a worry when she's 200 miles away and has limited communication skills...
Oh Cathy ( ) that's awful. It's a nightmare trying to sort card stuff out.. hope you manage to do it.I keep passwords and numbers under different names on my phone... god help me if I ever lose it! Then they tell you don't write them down but what are you supposed to do especially when you're memory is like mine.
By the way just as you wrote about perhaps not taking this mornings gabapants I had... so far still awake... only here so much as can't potter outside as it's raining and I'm a fair weather gardener.
Funny just remembered something from about 10yrs ago when I smoked. I lost my bank card, searched everywhere, retraced steps etc, called bank to cancel, no money for a few days waiting for new card. Went in my handbag for ciggies and there was the bloomin card stuck to the plastic on the back !
