Good morning,  my daughter had a first time seizure on holidays,  ct scan normal but has now had mri and EEG,  if ct scan normal why does she need a mri

Waiting results of Mri and EEG. Her personality had  changed pre seizure so much so she was planning to go to GP 're  this

Sorry to hear that your daughter had a seizure. Just to answer your question on why an MRI as well as a CT? They are being thorough. MRI's give more detailed pictures than a CT, so they can see more.
