Hi KAL pack
I'm sorry to see you've not had any responses to your question but this might be because nobody has any experience of this.
You could ask for information about this procedure in the ask a nurse section and one of the specialist cancer nurses will aim to get back to you within 2 working days. Alternatively you could give the Macmillan Support Line a call on 0808 808 0000 and speak to one of the specialist cancer nurses on there. It's free to call and open daily from 8am to 8pm.
Wishing you all the best
