I have secondary bone cancer from bowel cancer. I have family in Zurich i would like to visit again. Does anyone know of companies who would insure me without breaking the bank?
Hi Convoluted and a very warm welcome to the online community
Could I recommend that you join the travel insurance group where you'll find lots of recommendations from others who have successfully got reasonably priced travel insurance. Clicking on the link I've created will take you there.
Once you've joined look for the heading 'Member Stories', which will either be on the side or the bottom of your screen, depending on what type of device you're using, as that is where we try to keep all the recommendations.
Most people recommend that you phone the travel companies rather than do online quotes as sometimes they can refer to the underwriters to see if they would cover you when an online quote might just give you a straight refusal.
Make sure you have all the information to hand about your diagnosis and treatment before contacting the insurers. This is a list of common questions that insurers might ask when you're applying for insurance. Some insurers might ask for a letter from your doctor to prove that they have given you permission to travel.
I do hope that you can get some reasonably priced insurance and ve a great trip to Zurich.
