Thank you everyone for all your support. Had op on 11th. Nothing has spread outside the bladder but they will see if it has gone inward so now I have to wait.
I can't believe I have had surgery. Someone on the ward asked me if I had had my op and when I said yes, she told me how well I looked x don't know what they put in the anaesthetic
Came home last evening. Woke up today and bang feel like I have to be very gentle with myself. Who gets to sleep in hospital
I am truly amazed at the tech today. Thank heavens for our wonderful NHS and the wonderful people there except for the breakfast lady lol lol xxx
Glad to hear you got through the op Inanna.I have been wondering how you got on.I hope you don't have to wait too long to learn more.Take care, love Jane XX
Thank you so much Jane
Hi Inanna. Good to know things went smoothly. Nothing too strenuous for a week or so. Feet up and relax. Remember to take regular drinks of water to keep things flushed out. Best wishes.
I am very good at being lazy lol, an expert. Cancelled weekend activities, cold weather means hibernation for me
Love Inanna xx
How did you find the catheter ? I hope you are not in too much discomfort or pain.Love Jane XX
I was amazed Jane nowhere as bad as I thought. I was told I had a bigger one inserted but glad I was not told that before. Honestly I am so amazed about the ops of today. I feel knackered but it is amazing that today's tech has me at home so quick and just tired. Fantastic
Love Inanna xxx
It is amazing how quickly you can be back in your home after this op.It's good that it wasn't as bad as you thought.Love Jane XX
Good to hear it went well for you Inanna best wishes harry x
All sounding good Inanna. I loved my breakfast lady. In 2018 I was in and out of the urology ward so often she remembered how I liked my porridge Snuggle in is a good idea, dreadful weather this weekend. x
Glad all went well, hope you don’t have long to wait for results and that there good when you get them x
Jane thank you so much for your lovely posts. Always pleased to hear from you.
Sue thank you, I so hope so
Ha ha, that breakfast lady we had x the face on it, not to be upset by any mere patient
I am taking your advice re snuggling in
Harry thank you for your kind post
Great news. Hope you continue to improve. Take it easy. I agree with you about our caring NHS staff.
I am so grateful for our NHS and thank you so much for your good wishes
Hey Inanna that's great news!
I always used to come round after the op full of the joys.. These days I tend to struggle a bit & feel quite miserable, I'm sure they give me something different to calm down my joy
All the very best to you xxx
How rotten for you but have you asked them why you feel different after an op x they might take it on board and explain. Sorry I don't know much about this but hope you can find out
I am so impressed with my hospital. Letter arrived this morning I have a CT Thorax with Contrast on Tuesday 19 Nov.
I am learning a new vocabulary x I would not have understood any of it a few weeks ago
Yes I've asked, they say they don't do anything any different. However, I used to always have the same anaesthetist, but now it's someone different every time. Or it could just be my body getting tired of the procedure.
So glad that you have a good hospital, it really does make all the difference.
Take care x
