I'd like to hear from any ladies who have had a cystectomy (plus hysterectomy) and then a vaginal prolapse - and its treatment. I had my op last December and my recovery has gone well, but about 6 weeks after the op my vagina decided to go south. It has taken ages to get a referral (as it is not regarded as urgent) and I have now been measured for a particular type of pessary. If this does not work then it will be more surgery. Am I the only female that this has happened to?
