What do I look for after radio therapy for terminal bladder cance
Hello Mac41 and welcome to the group. Hopefully you will get lots of support here going forward. I had radiotherapy for my invasive bc. I didn't have any problems with the actual treatment. Side effects kicked in several weeks later. The main thing that happened to me was erratic bowels, which is common with any pelvic radiotherapy. I had the sudden urge to go, but as long as I planned where the nearest toilets were, I managed ok, and it gradually got better over the weeks. I also had bouts of fatigue which knocked me out for a couple of hours each day, but I was happy to curl up on the couch. Again this gradually eased and got better. I hope all goes well. Best wishes.
