Can anyone tell me how long after they finished their chemo radiation cycle, it was until you had your next scan to see if there had been any change?
I felt mine MORE during the recovery period! Well, either the tumour or just the swelling from the treatment.
Scared me at the time for sure.

Hi Suz ,
this swelling thing can render you paranoid!! I’m on day 17 post treatment and still learning what’s ok and what’s not … we all on the same journey but with different side effects and recovery times .. still swollen , still trying to get appetite back but making daily progress
Hope all good with you ?
Chrissie xx
Hi Chrissie,
All is REALLY good with me! I'm so thrilled to report that after bitching here for months about pain that just wouldn't quit......
It did!
I've been virtually pain-free (at least as far as my rear is concerned) for WEEKS now! I really didn't think it was EVER going to happen!
I also developed a weird lump in my vagina as well as I went through recovery. Husband wanted me to run back to the doctor, but I knew I couldn't bear an exam and figured it was just recovery stuff, and it was. After a couple of weeks it just went away.
The cancer-killing meds are so dangerous, and so good at what they do. Really, it's a wonder that we survive them! But they do work.
Hugs
Suz
Suz - no pain!! I am so happy and relieved for you, you have had such a tough time
