Hi Everyone,
There is a gathering for all patients and carers affected by ACC and other salivary gland cancers in October in London. I am an acc patient and there are going to be other patients and carers there. It's a chance to meet people in person and talk to others and learn of their experiences. You can let them know that you'd like to come along and get more info by emailing hello@salivaryglandcancer.uk.
Hope to see you there,
Emma (ACC 2012)
I'm really sorry we can't be at this meeting but I would encourage any ACC patient and/or carer, relative etc to go along. The support and encouragement on offer from other patients has been incredibly valuable. Just being able to hear other people's experiences and stories and realising that even with this rare cancer, there are other people who are going through the same thing. Go for support, advice and tips from other patients, and the knowledge that - despite the rarity of ACC - there are a lot of us out there.
Barry (ACC 2014)
