I am 24 and I have a synovial sarcoma in the pleura of my right lung. I just received the wonderful news that my inoperable tumour is now operable thanks to a good response to chemotherapy. I met with my surgeon yesterday and he told me that he is planning to remove around four ribs and some of the lung, perhaps even all of it.
I would just like to know if anyone has had a similar operation and what the recovery was like?
